POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable Specialist works on a variety of routine assignments and special projects under the direction of the AP Manager.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in the daily Accounts Payable function which includes verifying invoices, matching to appropriate Purchase Orders, and processing all payments for vendors.

• Follows AP systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines

• Collaborates with management to ensure monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information.

• Communicates with vendors via telephone and/or email to resolve billing issues

• Works with Service Centers to resolve issues related to invoices and/or purchase order approvals.

• Compiles reports and prepare spreadsheets as required by management

• Works on special projects as necessary

• Performs other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• COUPA experience preferred

• 3 – 5 years Accounts Payable experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to maintain confidentiality
