Job Responsibilities

• Track, resolve, and log customer issues requiring attention.

• Assist customer with waste characterization, shipping, profiling, and document preparation for drum/bulk waste streams.

• Proactively work with customers to establish reuse, reduction, recycling, and alternate treatment options and develop and implement subsequent programs.

• Offer general guidance for RCRA, DOT, TSCA and other applicable local, state, and federal regulatory bodies.

• Coordinate use of US Ecology, A Republic Services Company and 3rd party services.

• Monitor all sub-contractor services for completeness, deficiencies and to ensure regulatory compliance.

• By utilizing our resources, find alternate vendors and treatment methods for contracted waste streams to reduce costs and increase landfill diversion.

• Complete site visits to better understand processes generating waste and use this information to help find ways to properly manage waste.

• Provide accurate reports to customer and to your management team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, i.e. Environmental Science.

• Project Management experience preferred.

• Moderate computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office Suite).

• Experience with Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and other applicable local, state, and federal regulatory bodies.

• Ability to work independently with little hands-on supervision.

• Ability to travel domestically.

Serves as the contact to ensure that contractual requirements are met and work scopes are being met. Validates regulatory compliance. Responsible for health and safety on all aspects of field projects . Develops safety procedures with the scope of work and regulatory standards. Validates all subcontractors have appropriate training and certifications. Is the contact to escalate issues to and reports daily activity to ensure a safe, compliant, profitable project. Performs other duties as assigned.
