Republic Services is looking for an ambitious and capable Fleet Analyst to join our network of over 32,000 employees serving 14 million customers and over 2,700 communities across the United States. Under fleet and asset management leadership, the Business Analyst-Fleet assists with all functions related to fleet planning and reporting, as well as analysis and reporting of fleet opportunities. This role relies heavily on analytical skills to evaluate complex information, formulate insights, and develop sound recommendations to support the management of growth, retirement, redeployment, capital spending oversight, policies, compliance and other reporting.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Assists department management in formulating operational insights related to the Fleet Maintenance organization.
Supports the refinement and management of the fleet lifecycle program.
Track key fleet and financial metrics.
Reviews and tracks the capital expenditures for fleet activity against the current estimate and business plan.
Prepares financial analysis for equipment life cycle decisions to determine and monitor the optimum holding period for equipment.
Tracks analysis of underutilized equipment to inform reduction/redeployment initiatives.
Tracks scrap identification and compliance.
Supports ad hoc requests and other duties as needed.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Implementation Manager.

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics/Accounting preferred
Demonstrated Business and Financial acumen
Top end analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
Proficient in MS Office suite of tools (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
SQL or MSFT Power BI proficiency preferred but not required
