The Compensation Coordinator coordinates large, complex processes in support of annual merits, MIP, and monthly commissions. Coordinates and participates in various salary, budget, and policy surveys. They also develop salary recommendations for internal job changes and external candidates as well as complete complex projects as assigned by the team.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates data for and participates in salary, budget, policies and procedures, and miscellaneous surveys.

  • Updates and maintains tools used by analysts such as MarketPay, Xactly, MIP reports.

  • Develops and maintains compensation related documentation for processes as well as training used by managers and other HR partners.

  • Creates and maintains Excel templates for use in analysis or for sharing data with the field.

  • Develops salary recommendations for internal job changes and external candidates.

  • Supports the field in internal job changes and external candidate offers.

  • Facilitates portions of the annual merit process by creating and maintaining files, auditing processes, and fielding standard questions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Driven to learn, succeed, and deliver results.

  • Mathematical and quantitative analysis aptitude.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with well-developed written and verbal communication.

  • Demonstrated aptitude and interest in creating and working within large, complex, Excel spreadsheets.

  • A strong pattern of initiative and achievement.

  • Knowledge or ability to quickly learn a variety of computer software applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite with a strong emphasis in Excel).

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully both independently as well as in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
