POSITION SUMMARY: The Human Resources (HR) Systems Analyst I serves as a liaison between the HR Systems team and the Corporate and Field HR business teams. The responsibilities include providing Workday support and analysis to facilitate leveraging technology solutions to meet the needs of the HR Department and other stakeholders. This position works with all levels of HR staff assessing needs for various business functions. The HR Systems Analyst I also perform testing to ensure all processes work according to the pre-determined. This position will be heavily involved in the support of all the Human Capital Management applications for all users.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains processes including System Administration in Workday systems to support our people, management processes, and reporting needs. Understands the full scope of HR systems and interfaces.

  • Maintains the functional structure of the HR system, which may include maintenance of tables and workflow impacting the overall functionality and use of HR systems.

  • Researches, designs and tests system enhancements, changes, and upgrades.

  • Develops process improvements and recommends solutions/enhancements to meet business.

  • Conducts testing for systems upgrades, enhancements and interfaces between other systems. Creates test scenarios and assists project team members in performing tests to ensure all processes work according to predetermined requirements.

  • Assists department staff with technical issues related to the use of Workday.

  • Ability to manage and audit processes in order to ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR Systems.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate task across multiple HR teams.

  • Communication of status both written and verbally to key stakeholders within multiple levels of the organization.

  • Assists in developing training plans and training documents. Assists in training HR Department and field staff utilizing HR systems.

  • Support SOX audit processes for the HR Systems group.

  • Designs and generates ad-hoc and routine reports, and repeatable queries, Ability to review business requests, analyze data and make recommendation to the stakeholders.

  • Performs other job related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Technology or related field of study.

  • Workday experience preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years of in-depth, hands-on, relational database HR Systems and reporting experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR and associated business systems.

  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team setting.

  • PC software knowledge and skills, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint .

  • Experience with creating queries using multiple query tools.

  • Experience with system development life cycle.

  • Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret HR systems technical and procedural documentation.

  • Strong ethics and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.

  • Effective interpersonal skills across various levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and work in high-volume, fast-paced environment.
