The Senior Compensation Analyst is responsible for benchmarking and evaluating the competitiveness of and assisting in the design and administration of the Company’s pay practices, including base pay, short-term and long-term incentive programs and other compensation programs. The position acts as a resource for plan administrators, employees, field personnel and payroll to help resolve issues with a high level of customer service.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Conducts competitive benchmarking and survey analysis to evaluate the competitiveness of the Company’s salary ranges, pay levels, short-term and long-term incentive program design, and other compensation programs.
Assists in the administration of company-wide executive compensation, long-term incentive and equity programs for eligible employees.
Responsible for day-to-day administrative functions related to the Company’s nonqualified deferred compensation plan, including facilitation of annual employee enrollment and coordinating periodic account activities in accordance with the plan.
Performs detailed compensation-related research and data analysis. This includes running ad hoc reports, analyzing data to ensure compliance, and testing and correcting system inaccuracies.
Supports the preparation of the Proxy Statement such as populating compensation-related disclosures & tables, assisting in document tie-out and researching new proxy-related disclosures.
Acts as the project manager to lead and direct compensation projects (i.e., annual merit process). Ensures that projects remain on track and focused on execution of initiatives.
Partners with the Senior Manager, Total Rewards and other senior leaders to prepare materials for presentations for executive management and board of directors.
Develops and delivers employee communications that enhance the understanding and value of the Company’s compensation programs; including employee communication materials, vendor communications and maintenance of web portals.
Maintains current with state and federal laws effecting compensation matters. Assesses change in the legal environment to understand the impact on the current company policies and procedures and makes recommendations to ensure compliance as appropriate.

Minimum of 3 years of experience related to broad-based compensation or related finance or accounting experience at a progressively responsible level (required).
Experience analyzing and understanding financial and legal regulations, including tax and accounting treatment, SEC regulations and filings, proxy disclosures, FASB, 10k annual report analysis and Internal Revenue Code Section 409A .
HR and Payroll system knowledge.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point); advanced Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
