POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Environmental Solutions Pricing is responsible for leading the development and implementation of pricing strategies and revenue optimization to maximize the customer lifecycle as well as segment profitability. This position interacts with all levels of management and is a pricing systems liaison between the local operating units and the corporate office. Critical elements of the role include:

  • Setting pricing by market and customer segment

  • Supporting the company’s business strategy

  • Oversee and coordinate the environmental solutions revenue management function

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assesses market performance across services and segments; develops recommendations and action items to further drive market, service and segment share and profitability.

  • Develops strategic recommendations by working with business units and analytics group to analyze and understand all necessary data, including internal sales data, market trends, competitive landscape and current prices.

  • Direct, train and coach a team of analysts to maximize market performance utilizing relevant information systems/tools

  • Reviews financial models to analyze and recommend pricing; tracks and reports on key financial metrics related to market pricing strategies.

  • Identifies opportunities for pricing and business intelligence improvement; identifies areas of margin leakage and recommends improvement strategy.

  • Establishes and maintains procedure for review and adjustment of strategic pricing based on changing economic and competitive landscape.

  • Works with analytics team to evaluate pricing techniques and elasticity models.

  • Works with analytics team to assess program effectiveness through data analytics and field inputs.

  • Works with Market Planning & Development to understand changing market dynamics.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Ability to develop financial models to analyze and recommend pricing

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functional teams at different organizational levels to deliver results

  • Ability to plan, implement and monitor projects

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Science.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing, finance or economics

  • Experience in developing and implementing new pricing strategies and plans.
