POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition -Corporate oversees a team of Talent Acquisition professionals responsible for a recruiting a variety of roles throughout the United States, primarily focusing on Corporate and Executive level recruiting, Environmental Services, Information Technology, and the Customer Resource Centers. This individual will go beyond the traditional scope of recruitment by partnering with leaders throughout the organization for early identification of current and future staffing needs and then ensuring that they are filled with the best available talent that align with the needs of the business and the culture of Republic Services.
As Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for ensuring that Republic Services continually identifies, attracts, and recruits the best, qualified candidates for each role. You will develop the vision for a highly effective recruiting approach for critical talent segments. This role has high impact and high visibility to leadership at all levels.
Leads and develops a staff of TA professionals in the areas of Sales, Information Technology, Environmental Services, and Corporate Talent Acquisition Partners to identify and develop proactive talent identification and sourcing strategies.
Support C-Suite Executives by proactively identifying and cultivating relationships with high caliber senior level talent within the industry.
Develop and manage the recruitment strategy for multiple critical openings, from the initial research and planning phase to candidate identification, assessment, development, and presentation
Responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and presenting candidates to executive leaders on highly visible corporate level roles.
Develops and manages communication strategies with hiring managers to identify changes to recruitment programs and facilitates greater participation by hiring managers in the recruitment process.
Leads a team of TA professionals and creates an inclusive culture that translates into how we source, select, and hire diverse candidates into all positions.
Establishes and maintains relationships within higher education, community organizations, and professional associations to increase the availability and access to a highly qualified professional candidate pool.
Regularly presents and meets with Executive and Senior Leadership at Republic Services and high-level leaders at colleges and universities.
Promotes a culture of creativity and accountability within the talent acquisition team to enhance relationships with hiring managers by providing consultative advice and delivering quality results.
Strengthens our employer brand proposition to sell the organization and creates a consistent and engaging candidate experience.
Focuses on delivering high-quality recruiting results based on established metrics.
Manages special projects as a member of the Talent Acquisition team to innovate and continuously improve our processes.
Collaborates with internal communications and marketing to create impactful recruiting material.
Partners with hiring managers and recruiters to educate them on effective ways to select top talent.
A high energy, results-oriented, resourceful person who is passionate about connecting great talent with great opportunities.
Strong partnership and communication skills with the ability to influence candidates, site leadership, sales leadership and hiring managers.
Ability to provide accurate and actionable feedback and coaching to recruiters and hiring managers.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing best-in-class sourcing and selection practices to leverage talent as a key driver in company growth and as a competitive advantage.
Proactive, innovative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to focus on managing change.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced, dynamic corporate environment.
Experience supporting an organization’s diversity and inclusion initiative as it pertains to talent acquisition.
Experience working with a geographically dispersed and operationally decentralized work force.
Experience working with executive and corporate recruitment, sourcing executive level roles and partnering with placement agencies for specialized roles.
Minimum of 7 years professional recruiting experience within a corporate setting filling high level leadership roles.
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience with direct reports.
