POSITION SUMMARY:

The VP, Talent serves as a strategic partner to executive and field leadership, focused on building and executing an enterprise-wide talent strategy. This role is a hands-on leader who oversees the talent pipeline, leadership development and is broadly responsible for talent acquisition, learning solutions, talent management, retention and workplace inclusion and diversity strategies.

The VP, Talent develops and continuously enhances metrics to understand our performance in talent initiatives, as well as guides prospective workforce requirements. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong belief that finding, retaining, and engaging great people requires an innovative approach.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseesand executesa talent acquisition strategy by developing the employer brand, leveraging the brand across digital technologies, thereby enabling the company to attract, assess,hireand retain the right people to grow the business.

  • Leads thetalent planning process and designssolutions related to employee engagement, retention, talent acquisition, technology/infrastructure, and change management.

  • Leading a center of excellence that serves the needs of our front-line employees with innovative training and development solutions.

  • Evaluatesand makesrecommendations on technical training programs in partnership with business unit leaders and work together to develop learning experiences for all functions of the organization.

  • Develops, implements, and overseesa leadership development program to develop great leaders,as well as fast-track high potential emerging leaders.

  • Developslearning experiences for all organizational cross functions that support company growth.

  • Assesses, evaluates, and recommendstools, applications and technologies that will help to standardize and automate processes and create organizational efficiency.

  • Assesses, reports, and deliverscritical data/metrics related to talent processes to key leaders and stakeholders across the businessthat guide prospective talentrequirements and that measure performance against our goals in retention, attraction, and diversity, and other talent metrics.

  • Developsand executesa formal and transparent talent management processes that enables employees to build and develop their careers.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or other advanced degree is preferred, or a comparable levelof knowledgeandexperience that would typically be gained through a combination of a degree andexperience

  • Candidates must have demonstrated project management experience and theability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

  • Compelling communicator, both written and verbal, effective at presenting to all levels of the organization, including external shareholders

  • Strong leadership skills: ability to engage and inspire; fosters a sense of energy, ownership, and personal commitment to the work; create an environment in which performance excellence is rewarded

  • Strong matrix management skills; proven success in managing cross functional teamsacross a large geographic area

  • Ability to deliver high value impact as member of a larger team, ensuring efforts support the strategy of the business

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION S:

  • Bachelor’sdegree

  • At least12-15 years of related experience, including a strong emphasis ontalent acquisition, learning, talent development, retention, and inclusion

  • At least5 years of experience in managing multiple departments
