POSITION SUMMARY:  The Sr. Analyst, Customer Data works closely with cross-functional teams to understand the vision and business requirements for use of customer data and partners with IT to further define requirements to ensure that all projects are expertly executed. The ideal candidate has a passion for data and for how business processes impact the collection, cleaning and use of data across the enterprise. They will help to create a strong Customer Data culture by promoting best practices and tying business results to the data that underpins it.

This role will serve as the Product Owner for key portions for the Customer Data project.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with Data Quality team to build out Data Catalog, business glossary, quality standards, health metrics, and KPIs.

  • Maps business processesthat impact the entry, maintenance and use of Customer data attributes to determine opportunities for improvement.

  • Provides business context for data team to determine how to clean, enrich and integrate Customer Data attributes.

  • Performs gap analysis to determine where data must be better managed, cleansed or otherwise enhanced to support strategic initiatives and business outcomes.

  • Plans, organizes, designs, creates and implements projects to accomplish business goals.

  • Ensures accurate data collection for all key initiatives and helps develop technical specifications for collection of digital data.

  • Analyzes and reports all key performance indicators for data initiatives for the Customer Data Project.

  • Communicates with internal and external customers for relevant input to develop and implement successful projects.

  • Responsible for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure developed products align with business process, goals and objectives

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience evaluating and managing vendors

  • Experience with Agile methodology. Preferred experience as a Product Owner for an agile team.

  • Working knowledge of client-side data practices including analytics, customer data models and data flows.

  • A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a customer-first mindset.

  • Strong active analytical curiosity and creativity, as well as a flexible critical thinker and problem solver.

  • Able to work diligently and independently, but according to direction and within pre-set guidelines.

  • Process-oriented, mindset of continual improvement; real passion for ingesting and analyzing data, documenting processes with the intent of driving progressive improvements and significant innovation

  • Experience with Master Data Management, Product Information Management or Information Architecture.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Marketing or related fields or work equivalency.

  • Minimum 3 years of digital experience with data or digital marketing technologies.

  • Minimum 3 years of product management experience.
