Salary Range: $84,900 - $106,100 Annual
Bonus Plan Details (if applicable) : Bonus – MIP, 10% Annual
POSITION SUMMARY: The Area Revenue Mgmt Analyst is responsible for the planning and execution of revenue management activities within an assigned Area. This position interacts with all departments to align actions with the strategy of the organization. The Area Revenue Mgmt Analyst helps understand and convey important market characteristics necessary to determine the most effective revenue management plan.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads the execution of the revenue management strategy within defined markets.
Plans, implements and executes pricing recommendations and manages the customer portfolio.
Audits and reviews processes to ensure compliance with pricing recommendations.
Assesses market performance of revenue management plans across services and segments; develops and makes recommendations and action items to further drive market, service and segment share and profitability.
Develops strategic recommendations by working with business units to analyze and understand all necessary data, including internal sales data, market trends, competitive landscape and current prices.
Sets budget targets by division and line of business.
Tracks and reports key performance metrics related to market pricing strategies.
This position may require travel by air, car and/or other modes of up to 50% of the time.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years of prior experience in pricing, economics, statistics, or market planning.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience with revenue management, pricing, finance, analytics, market planning, or related experience.
Basic knowledge of SQL (e.g., ability to write and execute basic queries).
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Excel skills need be intermediate to advanced).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, quantitative sciences, or a related field (In lieu of a bachelor's degree, 6 or more years of relevant experience may suffice).
Experience in the environmental, service, transportation, or logistics industry.
